Put Up the Support Poles

Let’s get started! The three central, load-bearing poles need to be put up. They have to be solid as the whole circus tent will be hanging on them. Even the smallest problem could make the whole circus tent collapse… And that would be bad… I’ve heard about that happening. Here, take the masts and place them out on the field where they should go.

Objectives: Place the three tent poles on the field beside Ydris’s wagon.

Rewards: 20 Jorvik Shillings, 20 XP

Take the three poles and set them up in the indicated areas. Speak with Ydris when you are done.

The Outer Poles

Aha. Take these five outer poles and place them in a ring around the three center poles. Watch that they don’t give you splinters!

Tent Pegs

Yes, now we have the five pegs to stake out in a ring around the ones you already put out. These are used to anchor and tighten the ropes. They need to be very secure so be sure to knock them in hard!

I’ll begin to attach the ropes…

Objectives: Place out the five pegs that will be used to anchor the ropes.

Flag on the Top!

While the Fool carries on wrestling with the ropes, maybe you can put up the three flags? Here, take the flags that you picked up from the tailor earlier and run the up the three large poles.

Objectives: Raise the flag on the three masts. They need to go all the way to the top!

Approach each pole and click the arrow button on the screen to raise the flag. When you are done with all three flags, speak with Ydris.

Is Gretchen missing? She promised me she would go straight home. I hope nothing has happened to her… She said she was going to take the road past the old mine near here on her way home. She was eating a bunch of caramels and was dropping the wrappers as she went… So you can probably just look for the wrappers to follow where she went.

Yes, I know. I was on my way to Fort Pinta but I found some really exciting stones by the mine and I just had to check it out and then I was on my way down from the mine and there was a bulldozer and I really, really had to check that out and then I saw some cool tracks and followed them up and found Ollie-Bear. So then I went home with him and slept over and it was SOO nice. But he is still sleeping but now I should go home. Ride back and tell my parents I’m on my way soon. I’ll go straight home… I promise!
