Because of her father’s job, Lisa’s life is upside down. Torn away from the city where she grew up, she finds herself in the remote little seaside town of Jorvik, with no friends and no idea of how things work around here, she works up as much courage and strength as she can possibly find, and prepares herself for her first day in this strange place.
Oh, my first day of school and I don’t know anyone here.
I really don’t want to mess up. Hmmm… I need to get going. I don’t want to miss my first day in school.
New objective: “I need to find the registrar’s office before I can go to class.”
Go up the stairs and to the left of the statue in the middle of the room. Take a look at the trophy case as you walk past.
Hmm… The school has a lot of trophies… And some are for riding competitions…
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Hello there, young lady! I noticed you were looking at the old things in the cabinet. You look like a Taurus to me…
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Taurus? Yes, I am. How did you know?
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Tell me, do you like horses?
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
I used to ride a lot. Why do you ask? Who are you?
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
You can call me Mr Sands… And I sense that you were once hurt by a horse, am I right?
What a creep! Speak to him again and maybe he’ll go away.
Well, little redhead, I’m sure we will meet again…
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Yuk… That guy gives me the creeps… Better stay away from him. I wonder who he is?
With that encounter over, continue over to the registrar’s office.
The note says, “Be right back!”
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Hey! Are you new here? Just what kind of fashion statement is that? Maybe you think it’s chic, but trust me, it’s not. I’m Anne by the way, but I’m sure you knew that.
As a newcomer, knowing who’s important who’s not is critical.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Hmm, I guess that would make you important, right?
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Don’t be stupid – Of course I’m important. Anyway, I think you need to find a hairstylist…
What is that – Punk or grunge or what?
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
It’s just my hair. Sorry you don’t like it.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Tell you what, sweetie. I can help you, but for a small favor.
The guy over there by the pillar next to the library is Josh. He is very interested in me for obvious reasons, but hasn’t worked up enough courage yet to ask for my cell phone number.
If you run over and give him my number, I will help you.
New objective: “Anne wants me to give her phone number to the guy Josh.”
Go over to the blonde guy standing besides the stairs. That’s Josh, and you have a mission…
Hi! You’re the new girl, right? I saw you arriving in Jorvik the other night… I really like your hair… All the other girls here just look the same.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Oh, thanks… Well, I was supposed to give you this.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Oh… A phone number. Anne’s?
I thought it was yours… Ah, never mind.
Thanks.
Now return to Anne and tell her you have completed your mission.
Well done, Rock Girl… I hope your appearance didn’t scare him off. So, you want to know where the Janitor is? He is on the second floor just left off the stairs, talking to Sabine, the most stuck-up girl in school. If I know her right, she will stand there yappin’ forever.
New objective: “I need to find the Janitor on the second floor.”
Go up the stairs and to the right up the second flight of stairs. Around the corner to the left, at the top of the stairs is the Janitor and Sabine.
I bet that’s Mrs Graham – The teacher who everyone told me about, and the Janitor is standing behind her. How am I gonna get past her?
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Hold it right there, young lady! Where do you think you’re going?
There is no running around here unless you’re going to class, and you don’t even have your books with you.
Off you go. Don’t make me tell you again.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Do I need books just to walk around the school?
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Certainly! This is a civilized school, and if you’re not going to class you can’t just run around all over the place.
New objective: “Mrs Graham is a strict teacher. I need to find some books to get past her.”
Well, it’s your first day of school and you don’t have your books yet, but Mrs Graham won’t take no for an answer. Return to Anne with your conundrum.
What’s with the long face? Wasn’t the Janitor where he was supposed to be?
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Well, it proved a little more difficult than I thought…
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Let me guess! You can’t get there because Mrs Graham is stopping you all the time… You need books to get past her, you know.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
I guess so.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Well, I never carry my books myself, but I guess you’ll have to…
Tell you what, go talk to Miss Einstein over there. Her name’s Linda, and she has more books than the Jorvik Library.
New objective: “I need to find this Linda girl. Maybe she can help me get the books.”
Cross the main atrium and Linda is standing in front of the library doors.
Oh, it’s great that you need to borrow some books! I have two or three copies of each textbook for every class, to make different notes in and so on. I’d be happy to help you out.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Thanks, Linda, that would be great.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Oops! There is just one problem. I can’t get into my locker because I have lost my keys. The Janitor will be absolutely furious if he finds out that school keys are unaccounted for…
Well, I guess Alex could help us. She is right over there between the stairs. She is more capable than any boy I have ever seen.
When it comes to screws, metal, or anything mechanical, she does a better job than anyone else…
Go over and ask if she can help us out.
New objective: “I need to find Alex. I hope she can help me open Linda’s locker.”
Go up the first flight of stairs and speak to Alex. She is standing on the landing.
So, how can I help you?
I don’t think you want to hang with me and the boys…
I saw you talking to Princess Anne a little while ago. If you hang out with us too much I don’t think that supermodel wannabe will talk to you again.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Well, actually I could use some help, and I hear you’re the one to talk to.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
I hope you’re not gonna start crying now, City Girl…
I really don’t like that whole “Sob, sob, feel sorry for me because I’m such a cute girl” routine.
Let’s make a deal… You show me that you’ve got some guts, unlike all the other girls around here, and I’ll crack the locker. But you need to catch me first!
New objective: “I’ll show this Alex girl that I’m okay. I just need to catch her.”
Alex is running back and forth across the landing. Get close enough to speak to her to catch her.
You’re not as weak as you look! Follow me and I’ll take you to Linda’s locker!
Follow Alex to Linda’s locker and speak to her when you get there.
Let’s see… It’s open! And there are the books. Take them!
What’s this? Sabine’s cell phone in Linda’s locker?
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
That’s really strange! But I guess I can give it to her. I saw her over by the Janitor.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Okay, take it and give it to Sabine. Lisa, you’re okay. Well, I hope I’ll see you around… If you like riding, both Linda and I go to the stables almost every day.
New objective: “Great! Now I have the books. Now I just need to talk to the Janitor.”
Pick up the books and Sabine’s cell phone and take them to the Janitor at the end of the hall.
As a school employee, you ought to listen to me as you know how much my father has done for this school. The grand clock has been restored thanks to his donation. It is very simple. I am telling you, that Linda girl is a thief… She has stolen my cell phone and I demand that you have a look in her locker.
I am sure you are going to find my cell phone there.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
I think you’re over-reacting, Sabine.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
I am not over-reacting – Now do as I tell you or you may be out of a job.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
I’m sorry to interrupt, but I found this phone in the hall… You’re Sabine, right?
-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Oh… But that’s not possible… Hmm… Oh, thanks. But you should mind your own business in the future.
As Sabine walks away, approach the Janitor to speak to him.
Please follow me to the Registrar’s office and we’ll get you registered. And remember to return the keys to Linda.
Follow the Janitor down the stairs to the Registrar’s office.
Here you go, Lisa, all things are in order and here is the key to your locker and your books!
Remember, you need to be in Room 5 for your first class.

Hi my second question is. If starshine legacy was a diff. Island in jorvik. What level you would have to be on to open the land?
It’s a series of PC games by the same company that makes SSO. It came out before SSO. In a way, SSO is a continuing of the story from Starshine Legacy. You can purchase the games pretty cheap from Amazon.
