But I guess she’s just out playing with her horses somewhere. Haha, that kid is just full of imagination.

But now, back to work. Now that the boards are clean, we need to give them some fresh wax so our feet get a good grip.

A Safer Day with Jarl’s Insurances

Rita, sorry to interrupt you. But I have fantastic news! I’m going to get a new fishing boat! So Madison and I will be able to go fishing again soon. We’ll definitely avoid Cape Sorrow from now on, though. Ho ho!

Unfortunately it will take a while for the new fishing boat to arrive, but until then Jarl’s Insurances will lend me a temporary boat. I’m going off to get it today! I know Madison wanted to come along to Fort Pinta and watch the buses that pass through there. Ho ho! That kid is always up to some kind of game.

Right, back to that boat I’m about to get. It looks as though it’s really big. Not at all as cozy as a small fishing boat, but I’ll only be using it until my new one is ready.

Ho ho! Let me know if you need to travel across the water with a bunch of horses or friends. I can take you, which means I’ll have some use for this big boat from Jarl’s Insurances.

With it’s central position and beautiful building, you can’t call Cafe Harp anything but the heart of Aideen’s Plaza. Everyday it attracts all kinds of visitors, locals as well as tourists.

Recently the cafe owners made a brave decision when they chose to renew its already delicious menu. Apart from adding a few new pastries, you can also buy yummy ice cream from their little ice cream counter. I, Delores Staunton, reporter at The Jorvik Gazette, set off to try the new menu and to find out what the visitors thought of the changes.

The visitors’ opinions varied more than expected. While some embraced the changes with open arms, other seemed tow ant the old and less varied menu back. One of the guests who wholeheartedly supported the new menu was Eijnar Alderson. He couldn’t wait to try out the new flavors. Something else that really mattered to him was how this was going to affect Leonardo’s. If the selection were to remain the same, or if Cafe Harp would offer new flavors which Leonardo’s doesn’t currently offer. 

However, among the guests who did not share Eijnar’s enthusiasm, was Mr Anwir, a not to chatty businessman. When he was given to opportunity to describe his feelings for the new menu at Cafe Harp, he chose the expression “Get lost!”.

On the other hand, Mr Anwir’s friend, Carl Delman, was of a totally different opinion. When he was asked the same question, the answer was “I love ice cream! I’m going to eat ice cream here every day of the week!”.

After having been given the opportunity to talk to all these different, but generally happy ice cream enthusiasts, who had gathered to enjoy the new menu at Cafe Harp, it was finally my turn to try it.

Kudos goes to Cafe Harp’s ice cream, but Leonardo’s is still the place to visit if you want to eat ice cream, with Cafe Harp trailing not too far behind. So if you’re in town, you should definitely visit Cafe Harp and check out their new menu. We guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

An Unlikely Story

I don’t think you’re lying, but it’s highly unlikely that a ferry could have stopped at that beach. Maybe it had steered off course, or perhaps it’s just that sometimes the mist and fog and low light can play tricks. People claim to have seen stranger things than a ferry out at sea there, everything from sea monsters to sea people.

Our aim here is to recapture the valuable object that Samara has stolen which has the power to destroy the entire planet!

Agent Rita, your mission is to sneak up to Samara and attempt to take back the magic GEMO. I’ll make sure she doesn’t escape, because if she does, hope could be gone for all mankind.

Objectives: Catch the hen, then give the GEMO back to Madison.

This quest may be difficult!

It works exactly like catching chickens on the Sunfield farm.

Dismount your horse and chase after the hen on foot. It is best if you hold the cursor slightly above your character’s head, and click continuously as you get to the chicken. If you do not catch her, she will run away and disappear to another location on the farm.

Return to Madison when you have caught the hen and recovered the GEMO machine.

Oh! Seems that Samara the hen’s little runaround with my GEMO has broken it a bit… I can’t get it to switch on! Stupid chicken!

You want to try fixing it, you say? Wow! Are you like Queen of All Knowledge or something?! Haha!

I know you can’t promise you’ll fix it, but it’s super nice of you to offer to take a look at it. Let’s imagine the whole thing is surgery and you’re gonna operate on the GEMO!

You’re master surgeon Rita! And I’m your doctor’s assistant! We’ve just received GEMO into the emergency unit, a being that’s ended up with some terrible injuries.

Come on Doctor Rita! We can do this!

Objectives: Try to help Madison fix her GEMO.

Dismount your horse and use the screwdriver on the GEMO. This will begin a minigame to fix the GEMO machine. There will be a long bar with an arrow moving back and forth above it. Click when the arrow is over the highlighted green section of the bar. Complete all of the levels to finish your attempt at repairing the machine.

The Wizard in the Invisible Valley

Like I said, I think I have an idea of how we can save my GEMO.

There’s a wizard who lives in an invisible valley! There’s only one person who’s ever been there, and that’s me!

Okay, well he’s not exactly a wizard. Haha. It’s one of my best friends who lives there. He’s a hermit, he hides away from everyone and keeps to himself, but he’s great at building and repairing things. He’s even great with horses!

He’ll definitely be able to fix my GEMO.

I’d love to have come with you to see him, but I’ve promised my grandma I’d help out at the lighthouse now.

Sigh.

But I’ll tell you how to get there.

You see far off over there, there’s a really big tree… Ride towards that.

When you’re almost there, head left towards the edge of the cliffs. Keeps your eye out for a path that leads down towards the beach, which is where he lives.

I think you’ll find it pretty easily. Say hello to him from me.
